Walking around the rice fields is my and my husband's favorite when we are looking for cool air. Today the air at home is too hot even though the weather is cloudy tending to be overcast. So, we want to go to a cool place with lots of wind around the place.
We found a local cafe that we have never visited before. We used a motorbike to get to this place.
This local cafe is called "Taman Mafezana". Taman means park. So, it shows us that this cafe is garden themed.
This cafe is divided into two parts. The first part is the front part where we can order food and enjoy the food order. But we don't get a good view.
While if we want to eat and enjoy a good view, then we have to enter the second area, a large and more beautiful garden area. And we have to pay IDR10 K / $0.6 per person.
THE VIEW
This is the entrance gate to the park. From the beginning of the entrance we can see the pathway has a beautiful flower decoration that spreads.
In addition to being decorated with colorful flowers, several pillars in the pathway area are planted with passion fruit plants.
Passion fruit plants also have beautiful flowers, as captured below. In addition, of course, cafe owners can use passion fruits for cafe drink menus.
Furthermore, the visitor's seating is decorated like wooden huts or gazebos. The roofs of these seating areas use rumbia leaves which have long been used since ancient times for traditional buildings, especially used for park areas, also gardens and big fields.
The interesting thing is that all the materials are made colorful like colorful flowers. So, the eyes of visitors are really spoiled with colors that add to the enthusiasm of walking around the garden.
While waiting for our food to arrive, we also walked around the area around the park. There are several local fruit trees, such as papaya and also kedondong fruits.
Meanwhile, at the very end of the park, we can see pumpkin plants that have large pumpkins! Look there, there are pumpkins hanging proudly and beautifully.
Another thing that amazed me was that this place was so neat, there was no grass or ornamental plants that were too high or bushes. This park looks well managed.
LUNCH
In this cafe, only a limited local menu is available. Several variations of chicken rice and meatballs. So, I chose to order Indonesian Meatballs.
Well, don't forget about the chili! For us, Green chili puree like this is a must-have addition to the meatballs menu. Our tongues are spicy soup lovers!
I enjoyed my food while looking at the rice plants that were already yellow because they were almost ready to be harvested.
The yellow color is a sign that the rice grains are ready to be harvested. It has changed color from green to golden yellow! It's so beautiful even from a distance.
To enjoy the rest of the time in this beautiful place, I also enjoyed a creamy mango juice. Even without added sugar. ❤️
A very peaceful view for this afternoon and I am very grateful for this blessing. In fact, the food here is very cheap, around $1. It's very worth it and I don't regret it even though we have to pay the entrance fee for the park again. That's the cost of maintaining this park, because they don't make much profit from the food they sell.
So, I will come back to this place another time. It was really fun to spend time here. See you, around! ❤️☕
