Have you ever been annoyed when it rains while you are doing activities? In the past, I often felt annoyed when my activities were interrupted by rain. Then I started to learn about wisdom and now as an adult I choose to accept what the sky sends down.
Instead of feeling annoyed, I will enjoy the rainy atmosphere. Like what happened today. When I was riding a motorbike with my husband, we were surprised by the rain. We hadn't arrived at our destination yet.
So, we decided to stop at a random cafe that we saw. Indeed, there are many cafes around here because it is a university area.
"Bento Kopi", looks good from the front of the building. Once inside, the place is designed simply but comfortably.
I chose to sit in the back area of the cafe, semi-outdoor because it is designed like a backyard garden. Also, look at the many hanging lights. I like that!
Indeed, the rain was not that heavy and stopped quickly. But the air was still cold. It was almost time to break the fast, but strangely I was not hungry at all.
I was confused about what to eat because I had no appetite at all even after fasting. To break my fast, I ordered a sweet drink to break my fast.
Hot ginger tea with brown sugar. I held the mug with both hands to warm myself. I was pensive for a moment. I don't know, I felt a bit sad maybe because of the weather.
Then my husband whispered, "How about instant noodles? Haven't you eaten instant noodles for a long time?"
I smiled at my husband. It seemed like a good idea! My husband can handle me well.
I ordered simple instant noodles but with extra chilies for sure! This bowl of noodles actually reminded me of my college days when I was caught in the rain and I used to eat instant noodles in the university canteen because instant noodles were the cheapest.
I also saw many visitors who seemed to be students who were working on assignments using laptops. Maybe this place is affordable for students.
Sure enough, the food and drink menu that I ordered was only $2 in total. This is very affordable. Likewise with the rice menu with chicken, the price is not more than $1.5. I hope this affordable price really helps students.
The sky is still drizzling while the day is getting dark. The cafe lights are turned on. The atmosphere is getting dimmer.
I don't want to blame the situation, don't want to blame the rain that is falling. At least with the rain falling, I can stop for a moment. Indeed, there will be many who are delayed, but I always believe that in other areas there are many people who are grateful that it is raining right now. Because everything happens for a reason. So, don't forget to be happy!
I feel very entertained when I see the warm lights around the cafe. My creative brain and poetic soul actually produce a lot of poems to write. Meanwhile, I just take notes on my cellphone. And maybe one day there will be new works that are printed, maybe I don't know when, but what is clear is that it is not now.
