Surely everyone has heard or eaten at some time some delicious fried corn chips, today I show you how to prepare them to serve as an accompaniment to a good meal or just an appetizer on any holiday. Hola mis queridos amigos amantes de la buena comida, espero que estén pasando un excelente fin de semana. En esta ocasión les traigo una receta algo fácil y riquísima a la vez. Seguramente todos han escuchado o comido en alguna oportunidad unas deliciosas frituras de maíz tierno, hoy les muestro como prepararlas para servir como acompañante de una buena comida o simplemente un aperitivo en cualquier festividad. Enseguida les muestro como prepararlas.


Ingredients//Ingredientes

5 ears of baby corn//5 mazorcas de maíz tierno
1 red bell pepper//1 pimiento rojo
3 small chili peppers//3 ajíes pequeños
6 garlic cloves//6 dientes de ajo
1 egg//1 huevo
Salt//Sal
Cumin//Comino
Oil for frying//Aceite para freír

The first thing to do is to remove all the corn from the cob with a sharp knife. Once this is done, reserve the kernels for later.

Lo primero será quitarle todo el maíz a la mazorca con un cuchillo bien filoso. Una vez hecho esto, reservar los granos para más adelante.

Cut into very small cubes the red bell pepper and the small chili peppers.

Cortar en cubos bien pequeños el pimiento rojo y los ajíes pequeños.

Now put in a blender the corn followed by an egg and blend on the first speed for 1 or 2 minutes until everything is finely ground.

Ahora se pone en una licuadora el maíz seguido de un huevo y mezclar en la primera velocidad durante 1 o 2 minutos hasta que se haya molido todo muy bien.

Next, add salt and cumin to taste and mix again for another minute.

Seguidamente, se pone sal y comino a gusto y se mezcla nuevamente un minuto más.

Then add the chopped chili peppers followed by the garlic and mix again for about two minutes until everything is well integrated.

Para después agregar los ajíes picados seguidos del ajo y mezclar nuevamente unos dos minutos hasta que se haya integrado todo muy bien.

Once the mixture is ready, spoon it into hot oil and let it brown on both sides. When ready, remove and drain well and then serve.

Una vez lista la mezcla ir echando en aceite caliente con una cuchara y dejar dorar por ambos lados. Cuando estén listas sacar y escurrir bien para después servir.
