Hi dear Hivers! What are your cravings for today?

For sure, each one of us has a comfort food that can satisfy our hunger and relieve our stress.
Who wouldn’t fall in love and crave for Sushi, Tempura, Ramen, and many more?

As an ESL teacher of Japanese students, I often tell my students that I’m a big fan of their cuisine.
And I can say that I’m really talking from the heart when I tell them that Japanese food is one of my favorite dishes. I personally love sushi of different varieties.
Whenever we go out, we normally scout for a Japanese stall or a Japanese restaurant to dine in. And if it’s within our budget, there’s no more brainstorming on where to eat.
And today is not a special day. We just strolled around the mall and had a quick walk around the area.
We normally enjoy our free time, especially if our oldest daughter is not in school. So we took advantage of this day to have a simple family time together with the kids.

During this time, it’s morning, and it's a weekday. We had fun strolling while chatting with each other. We would stop and take pictures at some store displays. And yeah, giant Christmas trees are already everywhere.
So we had fun! Until we felt our grumbling stomachs. We originally planned to eat at the usual fast-food chains here in Manila, yet we're hungry for something else.

And yeah, finally! We saw this Japanese stall with a very authentic Japanese vibe. We just looked into each other's eyes and we agreed upon our gazes.

Our eyes were feasting while choosing which dish to order. And tada, we ended up ordering Tonichi Ramen and Pork Tonkatsu with chili powder. We spent less than 10 USD for these, yet our cravings were satisfied.

We sip the hot soup and thoroughly chew our food, delighted with these dishes.
The ramen has a very creamy and rich broth. And every bite of Pork Tonkatsu with its tender and crunchy texture is exceptional.
So this is a must-try!

After this, it’s dessert time! We went to Yowell, a yogurt stall with delicious flavors and affordable options.

Today is an ordinary day with extraordinary people.
Thanks for reading and following my blog! Ganbatte!
