Hello there! It's me, Mae!
I hope you all are doing well. There's something really cozy about spending a regular day with someone you love. That’s precisely how our recent shopping trip for food went down. There are no big plans or big spots, just me and my boyfriend, chasing a craving for good food and quality time together.
We met right at noon when the mall was packed. It was peak time, so many people were around families, groups of friends, couples like us, all out to enjoy the day. Despite all the noise and rush, it felt like the crowd faded away when we spotted each other. One of the things I love about him is how he makes everything feel so chill, even in a busy place like the mall.

We came across a little painting display in the hallway as we walked. The colors and creativity immediately grabbed our attention, and we had to stop for a few photos. I love that we both enjoy the little things, like how something as simple as checking out some art turns into a cool memory when we share it.

After snapping some pics and laughing at our goofy poses, we headed to the food court for lunch. I had been craving a Vietnamese sandwich for days and finally got one. The flavors were on point—the crunchy bread, the tangy sauce, fresh veggies, and tasty beef made it just what I wanted. While I was enjoying my sandwich, he wandered off to a nearby bakery, one of the popular ones in the food court, and returned with a small box of pastries. We sat down and split everything, just like we always do.
While we ate, we talked about everything and nothing—life plans, random thoughts, funny memories. That’s what I love most about our time together; it doesn’t always have to be something significant. Sitting down, sharing food, and having deep or silly talks is enough sometimes.
He stood up when I thought we were stuffed and wanted to grab something else. I casually said, “Let’s just share a small fries, okay?” He nodded and walked off. A few minutes later, he came back—smiling, of course—with this huge order of fries from Potato Corner. I was shocked and couldn't help but laugh. “Wait! I said small!” I told him, still giggling. He ordered my favorite flavor, spicy barbecue, and sour cheese. That’s just him always making sure I’m full and finding little ways to put a smile on my face.
We hung out at the food court a bit longer, finishing the fries (and I ate a lot more than I thought I would), just enjoying the moment. It wasn’t a fancy date or anything, but it was ours. And that made it perfect in its own way.
These simple days remind me how lucky I am to have someone who turns ordinary times into good memories.
Hoping to see you all again! Bye bye! ❤️
