How are you all? Today let me share with you this dragon fruit experience and unlocking its health benefits. What do you prefer? Eating it raw or blended? But for me, I'd love the two, but if I have to make a choice, I prefer eating it raw. Hehe, simple and no preparation at all. By just peeling the dragon fruit, you'll have a spoon there. There you go, you can easily eat it. Blending? Sharing with you this recipe of mine on how to blend a dragon fruit, but before that, let me share with you the health benefits of eating a dragon fruit.

Dragon fruit, also known as pitahaya or strawberry pear, is a low-calorie tropical fruit known for its vibrant red skin and sweet, seed-speckled pulp. It contains nutrients, prebiotic fibers, and other healthy substances. Dragon fruit is low in calories but packed with essential vitamins and minerals. It also contains a substantial amount of dietary fiber.

The 7 health benefits of eating dragon fruit are as follows:

Here’s how to eat a fresh dragon fruit:
Step 1: Using a sharp knife, cut it in half lengthwise.

Step 2: Scoop out the fruit with a spoon, or cut it into cubes by cutting vertical and horizontal lines into the pulp without cutting into the peel. Push on the back of the skin to expose the cubes, and remove them with a spoon or your fingers. You can also scoop it easily and eat.

Another way to eat dragon fruit is by blending it or making it a shake.
Ingredients:
3-5 pieces of cube ice
4 tbs. of condensed milk (it depends on your sweetness; you can add more)
1/2 pc. dragon fruit (I used only half of the dragon fruit because we're only two who drink this)
Step 1:
Using a sharp knife, cut the dragon fruit in half lengthwise and scoop it, then directly put it in the blender.

Step 2.
Add the tube ice and the condensed milk (you can also add more).
Step 3.
Blend until it is smooth. Transfer it to a glass and serve.

Yey! You already have a sweet shake of dragon fruit; you can also add some toppings on it, like fruits or nuts. I've made two glasses of this dragon fruit shake.
