






AREPAS DE PLÁTANO 🍌
Esta es una de mis comidas favoritas ya que combina mi desayuno/cena fav con mi vegetal favorito. Lo comí hoy en mi cena y lo hice de la siguiente manera:
Puse a hervir dos plátanos hasta que ablandaran un poco y coloqué dos tazas de harina de maíz con una pizca de sal en un bol. Amase todo y cuando estuvieron los plátanos listos los aplaste con un tenedor y los añadí a la masa (si usas la masa amarilla no se nota la diferencia). Luego le di forma redonda humedeciendo bien mis manos ya que se vuelve una masa muy pagajosa y difícil de manejar, y en una sartén con aceite las cociné hasta que se tostaran por fuera.
Las acompañé con Chili con carne que hizo mi novio del almuerzo y una pequeñita que me sobró la rellene solo con queso 🧀 pero tú puedes rellenarla con lo que quieras y BOOM, la mejor comida ever. Necesitas probarla!

PLANTAIN AREPAS 🍌.
This is one of my favorite meals as it combines my breakfast/dinner fav with my favorite vegetable. I ate it for my dinner today and made it as follows:
I boiled two plantains until they softened a bit and placed two cups of cornmeal with a pinch of salt in a bowl. Knead everything and when the plantains were ready I mashed them with a fork and added them to the dough (if you use the yellow dough you can't see the difference). Then I gave them a round shape, moistening my hands well since it becomes a very sticky dough and difficult to handle, and in a pan with oil I cooked them until they were toasted on the outside.
I served them with Chili con carne that my boyfriend made from lunch and a small one that I had left over I filled it only with cheese 🧀 but you can fill it with whatever you want and BOOM, the best meal ever. You need to try!
