Good morning, @mipiano, I'm glad you were able to get many hours of sleep..... I'll tell you a secret, torrijas taste much better when we are rested.

I think this week I'll try that hard bread in eggs.... And nothing else?

Yes, beat an egg (or two, depending on how many bread slices you want), add a bit of salt, put the slice into the egg and then into hot oil until it gets the golden colour, and that's it. I used to make it when I had leftover bread from one or two days, but it is not good with fresh bread. You can put garlic on it, too. It is very similar to torrijas but without milk, in a salty version.

It is called bundás kenyér, I hope you understand Hungarian hahahahha video 😂

Today I made my own version (with pepper, ginger and ground garlic) and I was surprised at how juicy it turned out.

Hi, @mipiano, I've already watched the video and taken note. I didn't understand anything the woman was saying 🤔, but a picture is worth a thousand words, so I think I'll be able to do some Bundás kenyér reasonably well. 😃
