How did you come across this recipe idea? It’s a good way to use the whole pineapple. I used the top from the last whole pineapple I had to grow a huge pineapple plant that I still have.

I found it in the new Ball canning and preserving book. Then oddly enough someone posted it on tiktok so I bought a fresh pineapple to give it a go. I love it! I never tried saving the top to plant it but maybe next time. ♥

How cool! I debated about getting a new blue book, but decided to stay with the one I was used to.

The new canning book is fine but I use my original one more. Old habits die hard.
