The rainy season is here, and as a small business owner selling cold drinks and snacks, this is something I always worry about. We all know that rainy weather usually means fewer customers. Not just for me, but for many businesses.
So, I decided to add something new to our menu. Something people would still enjoy, even when it’s raining.
I recently added something new to my collection. It’s not just because I want to earn from it, but also because I’ve always wanted to have one, even when I was younger. Additionally, I wanted to make snacks for my niece.
It’s an 8-in-1 sandwich maker that I bought online at a great price because it was on sale. Amazing, right?
I was super excited to try it out. I also ordered a batter dispenser and pancake mix online, which I’ll use for making waffles and donuts. Online shopping is really convenient, especially for getting things I need for my small snack shop.
With this sandwich maker, I can make different kinds of treats like waffles, mini donuts, sandwiches, cookies, and more!

Yesterday, while thinking about what snack to make for my niece, I had an idea: waffles topped with ice cream and strawberry jam, and drizzled with chocolate syrup. The mix of flavors turned out so good. I truly loved it!
It’s fun and easy to experiment with different flavors, especially if you already have a variety of ingredients at home. The ice cream I used is homemade too. We use it for our Coke float business.
Pairing the waffles with cold iced tea is the best combo! Owning a small snackhouse is truly an advantage. I can make my own snacks anytime I want to 😁.
