Happy Thursday, dear Hivers! These days, eating out has been a constant and my wallet is not happy about it. It seems like I'm eating out most dinners instead of eating at home.
One of our favorite dinning experience is the unlimited samgyupsal because we can eat at our hearts content. Luckily, we found the perfect samgyupsal place that offers a variety of meat, both pork and beef, at a reasonable price of 450 pesos.
This is the second time my officemate and I ate in this meat shop within a month.
Although the side dishes are quite minimal compared to other samgyupsal places, what we are here for is their tender beef bulgogi and kimchi rice (rate: 10/10)- this is by far the tastiest I've ever had.
One key indicator I always look when finding an authentic Japanese or Korean restaurant is if there are Korean or japanese foreigners dining in the place. This would mean that their taste are authentic and Korean/ Japanese approved. So far, in our many times of dining at this samgyupsal place, there are always Koreans dining too.
For their drinks, they only have cold water. Fortunately, I'm not into drinking juices or iced tea so water is enough to satisfy my thirst. We're here for the meat, anyway. Dessert consist of two variety of fruits- watermelon and pineapple. Although they have Melona ice cream but it's not included in the unlimited meal package.
But what makes our meal even more enjoyable is our conversations with my officemate. We usually dine here when we are stress and just want to vent it out so we could let it go. It's during those times when we just had a busy day and finally, the day has ended.
That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!
Sending some love and light
With love, Jane
