Somehow we skipped summer… it feels autumnal and even wintery here. It is cold, leaves are falling 🍂🍁🍂 she is confuseled hahaha 🤣 !LOL

We looked 3 days in a row at cars… nothing to our liking or in a bad state.
Friday we go on a must do trip. Preparing now for it. We will look for a car when we come back and rent a car for a week or so. Hope there is more choice. As we only have 2 cities around us to look in. 1 is 1 hour away and the other 1,5 hour north of us. So we are limited in choice.

Same here, apparently, my home town had some snow on the mountains yesterday, and I am sitting a 1000km away from the cold in a place, still technically in at the end of winter and beginning of spring, with summer temperature and weather. She is confused!

Oh no, I know the struggles with finding a car, especially if you know what you want but cannot seem to find it. Good luck with that, and I am sure the right one will be around the corner.

Wow, snow this late at your place and summer where you are now. Maybe next year it is a bit more normal. This year it will not, looking around the world.

We just want a good affordable car… but… as we get soon 7 months of winter with snow as high as 3 meter and more than -30 degrees Celsius. It needs to be able to survive this winter. Has good winter tires and be able to start at those temperature. So we need to look closely at the car. As we are 1 hour away from anything we rely heavily on it.

Oh my, that is something we do not have much trouble with. Cars here are just for transport in normal conditions. Having to deal with that much snow and cold is something we are not used to! I hope that you will get something reliable and good!

Hahaha nope, not to that degree. !LOL

We will I am sure of it.
Right now I am in Ireland. Tomorrow we fly ✈️ to Edinburgh Scotland. We stay 4 nights there. We finished our work and appointments today so the days there are to rest, explore and have fun 😁
The 9th we fly home again… 2 planes.

Travelling is such a hassle! I know, the first time I flew it was fun, but after having to do it multiple times, I have grown sick of the airport, haha.

Oh, that sounds lovely! Would love to be able to say, "I am flying to Scotland for a couple of days", seriously jealous! I hope that you enjoy it.

It is a hassle in every way.
I don't like airports. Some are ok and well organised. But this trip I added 2 airports to my list “try not to fly there” hahaha
I literally used all (ok almost) all modes of public transport this time. In various numbers of times too.
Rental cars, taxi, bus, tram, trains, planes and even a ferry… a lot 🫣

I really enjoyed my time in Scotland. The weather was against us but that didn’t stop us 😅
Arrived back home last night late.
Now catching up on everything.
Hope you can one day 😀

Oh my, you definitely have it worse than we do. I don't do well with travelling at all, but what you went through would really destroy me. I remember when we were in the UK and in Europe, things were so radically different to how things are here in South Africa, that we could not adapt. Funny things like jay walking being a problem, here in South Africa, we run across the road left right and centre. As soon as we tried to do it in the UK, my brother (who lives there) immediately stopped us and told us to use the designated areas.

Oh no, but I am sure as you said you made the most of it!

It was a lot in 10 days… hahaha
I can imagine, it would be crazy for you to do the same I did.
It is so different.

Yes, you can’t just walk across a road when you want. If police is in the area you are fined.

We did, enjoyed it all… even the rain hahaha
