MILKFISH SOURSOUP(Sinigang Na Bangus),My Family's Favorite Traditional Filipino Food

Hello Dear food lovers!How are you in this community?Hope all is well.
I wanna share to you one of my family's favorite dish "the Sinigang na Bangus"

These are the following ingredients used in cooking the soursop milkfish to create a flavorful taste.
Here are the main Ingredients

  • 1 whole milkfish (bangus) – cleaned and washed
  • 1 piece-3pieces of fresh calamansi – seeds removed
  • 1 medium onion – sliced
  • 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger – sliced(optional)
  • 1 medium tomatoes – chopped

Here are the steps in cooking the soursop milkfish..
First is to slice/cut the whole bangus into your desired sizes.

Prepare the spices to be added in your soursop.I cut and sliced the spring onions,the Green Chile,onions,tomatoes and the cabbage/pechay.

Prepare the pan and add all the spices.Add some water and bring it to a boil.

After boiling add the sliced milkfish and some pepper and salt to taste.

Simmer for about 5minutes or until the fish is cooked.

When it boils, slowly add the cabbage/petchay or any green leafy vegetables.
Slowly add calamansi juice for a soursop taste.
