If you're in Bali, try to find Bubur Ayam but make sure the one who sell is local and not in a cafe/fancy restaurants 😄

It has different broth and just as @gibic mentioned, it has turmeric and some other spices that create more aromatic and savory flavor. Whereas Chinese styled congee's flavor is typically from the chicken broth itself and less aromatic. I am not fan of spices maybe that's why I always like this type of congee rather than Indo style 😅
