Mutton paya or trotters recipe

in Foodies Bee Hivelast month

Hello hi guys how are you greetings to all of you and welcome to my another recipe blog. Hope you all are well and enjoying delicious food. I am the only one in the home that makes different dishes daily in dinner and lunch. So today made Mutton paya or trotters with spicy gravy. It's my favourite favourite dish. We also drink soup of paya specially in winters. It's also good for health. So i want to share my food with all of you. I will explain ingredients first. Let's start.

Ingredients

Mutton paya

Onions

Garlic

Green chillies

Spices

Salt

Black pepper

Turmeric

Dry coriander

Red chilli

Process

First i took out the mutton paya from the fridge them spread wheat flour on it and left for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes i washed the paya very well.

Many people make paya in their own style. So i took pressure cooker put some oil for frying the onions garlic and green chillies.

Then i added sabat garam masala and other spices like salt black pepper turmeric and red chilli. I used black pepper mostly in the paya recipe.

After this i added mutton paya in the ingredients and spices. Then i added one liter water in it because i made soup also of paya.

I closed the pressure cooker for one hour under midum flame. After one hour i opened the lid.

I also cooked for making thick gravy 😋. And my mutton paya are ready for eating. You guys can see final look here.

I'm guessing mutton paya means a goat 🐐 leg or cow 🐄 leg?
Anyways, it looks delicious and easy to cook. It's also well spiced

Yes you are wright 😁.

Mutton paya with spicy gravy sounds so comforting, especially with that soup during winters. Loved how you used wheat flour to clean the paya first. Not everyone mentions that step, and it’s so useful! That thick gravy at the end? Chef’s kiss. Can imagine it with some naan... okay, now I’m hungry. Looking forward to more delicious recipes from you. Please keep ‘em coming!

Thank you so much for lovely comment 😊
