Making hallacas is a tradition in all homes in Venezuela, in my family we meet twice to make them, in the first batch we make the pork and meat ones, my sisters and I help my mother by buying the ingredients, then cutting the vegetables and in their preparation.

Cada una tenemos asignada una tarea, mi mamá se encarga de preparar los guisos y de envolver las hallacas, yo esta vez hice de todo un poco, comencé limpiando las hojas mientras llegaba una de mis hermana, luego prepare una de las masas, para después separarla en porciónes pequeñas y después estirarla en las hojas, aquí tuve la ayuda de mi sobrina Antonella, fue maravilloso poder explicarle como es el proceso y ella lo capto de inmediato, estaba muy contenta de haberse unido a esta hermosa tradición familiar y que nos identifica.
