I have already mentioned that one of my most frequent hobbies is going out to eat in the street, right now I could not count the number of restaurants I have visited so far, but believe me there are many, of course, they vary in infrastructure, quality of the dishes and, therefore, in prices. The truth is that I am not usually very prejudiced when trying a new experience, if the proposal is at least a little interesting for me, then I try at least one dish, if I like it then I return, but if the sensations are negative, then I am afraid I will never return.
So, as I'm sure it happens to all of us, the algorithm of the RRSS of the web2 usually suggests places of interest according to the most frequent searches we usually do, so Instagram shows me very often restaurants in my city and that's how I met Lucky Food. This restaurant is located on Bolivar Avenue in the city of Maracay, Venezuela, quite close to the Global shopping center, and well, there what they offer is mostly Asian food and also some local food.

My wife and I decided that we would eat the most traditional Chinese food in this country, it is worth mentioning that this type of food is quite popular here because for decades thousands of Chinese immigrants arrived and brought with them their culinary traditions and this was transformed over the years according to the tastes of Venezuelans. So we ordered a tray for two people which costs 14$, it comes with rice, 4 spring rolls, 4 pieces of chicken, chop suey, sweet and sour pork ribs and 2 sodas.
Venezuelan Chinese rice, as we usually call it, comes with chicken, ham, vegetables and corn, also seasoned with soy sauce and other spices. Likewise, the chop suey comes with sautéed vegetables such as cool, carrot, bell pepper and celery, but it also comes with pieces of chicken and ham. It should be noted that the two aforementioned side dishes can vary in terms of ingredients. On the other hand, the spring rolls are filled with various vegetables.

As far as the proteins are concerned, the sweet and sour pork ribs were quite decent, although I must admit that I have tasted much better ones. On the other hand, the chicken broaster pieces were spectacular, they were crispy and had a lot of flavor, perhaps the most striking thing about the whole platter.

I must say that the amount of food that this tray has is enough for at least 4 four people, I really don't understand why they sell it for 2. Evidently there was food left over which we ordered to take away, it was impossible for us to eat it all, so, in terms of quantity, everything was fine with the restaurant. However, not everything is rosy, the rice was a little hard for my taste and probably could have tasted better, also, I did not feel it was a cozy atmosphere, it was hot and the music was not the most appropriate for an Asian restaurant.
If I have to give this restaurant a score, then it would be 6/10, although I think I will return to try other dishes in the next few weeks, maybe my perception will change.
