Fried bread has become one of the most popular snacks in our area lately. Using leftover breakfast bread, I wanted to make it myself at home. Yesterday, I was quite curious about the snacks sold on the street, as they tasted quite unique. After trying it, I understood and had the idea to try making it at home. I found this recipe and realized that it seemed quite simple and easy. At street stalls, they make fried bread using various jams, such as chocolate, strawberry, or grape jam. However, this time, I will try it with chocolate jam because that is the only one I have.

The original recipe for fried bread does not include baking powder. The original recipe only uses flour and water as a coating when frying. Since I really like crispy fried bread, I took the initiative to add a layer of baking powder.
Ingredients

Chocolate spread, as needed
¼ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons flour
100 ml water
Flour as needed
Here are the preparation steps, prepare all the ingredients and do the easy preparations. Here they are:

Result

The result was perfect. It turns out that fried bread is really delicious. Although it is a little oily, the chocolate coating makes it even more perfect. It tastes sweet and savory, and is crispy on the outside. I think it is a little big, so if you want to serve it at home, you should cut the bread into 4 pieces so that each piece is the right size.

For even better results, use neatly cubed bread so that when you cut it, the slices are perfectly sized.
Look at my fried bread—the shape isn't very uniform, but of course the result is delicious. I like the final layer with fanir, which makes the texture more unique and crispy.

For those of you who are confused about how to turn plain bread into a dish, try this method. I'm sure you'll like it. If you don't want to make this bread too oily, you can bake it again briefly in an air fryer.
