Hi foodie, I'm so happy that today I'm back again with a new recipe that I tried for the first time. Fried rice is indeed a favorite food of Indonesians. We make this dish as breakfast or even a special dinner with family. But there is something different about this fried rice recipe, a new recipe that I found on the internet a while ago.
Pineapple Fried Rice
Pineapple fried rice is a combination of rice fried with a mixture of chicken breast and shrimp with pineapple chunks. At first, I was skeptical about pineapple, which has a sweet and sour taste combined with rice, but who would have thought this combination would be so out of my expectation. It has a characteristic flavor that is authentic to other fried rice that I have tried.
Here I will take you through the preparation step by step.
Ingredients Used
1 cup white rice
20 grams minced chicken
20 grams of shrimp
1 celery leaf
1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
2 red chili peppers
1 clove shallot
1 clove of garlic
Making Procedure
Prepare pineapple, cut pineapple into squares, take the flesh of the pineapple.
Then cut the pineapple into small squares or according to taste.
Prepare other ingredients cut celery leaves, onions and red chili finely chop all these ingredients.
If everything is ready, cook a spoon of butter and then saute the shallots and garlic in the butter.

Saute until wilted, add minced chicken and shrimp and cook both until they turn brownish yellow.
Then add pineapple and chili stir both until well mixed, then add with chili pieces.
Season with sweet soy sauce, garlic powder then add rice.
Stir until well mixed, then reduce the heat add ¼ teaspoon salt then cook until everything is completely cooked finally add celery leaves.
Serving Suggestion
Serve the cooked fried rice in the pineapple bowl that I have prepared. Now make sure when the bowl is made it is not watery, I counteract the water in the bowl by cleaning it with a tissue up to several times for better results. I made this fried rice for 1 serving but it can be enjoyed for 2 people because the portion is quite large.
I prepared the rice in the bowl and then served it on a plate with lettuce crackers and fried chicken. It's really a complete portion for dinner this time, and I'm so glad it turned out so well even without the addition of any other flavorings. I'm sure the chicken made it more savory with the pineapple adding its sweet tamarind flavor. All in all, it's a super dish that I can prepare, although the end result is still not beautiful but the taste really makes me love it.
It's not spicy at all, just sweet, savory with a tart taste. Now the most tantalizing thing is that the aroma makes anyone who smells it will definitely be very hungry, believe me hehe!.
