Wow! I didn't know that it was so complicated to prepare baklava! But, seeing the final result, it looks amazing and you did a great job!
The "Semeni" that you shared at the beginning is very similar to a tradition that my mom was doing every Christmas... I mean, before Christmas she would prepare wheat seed on a small plate (like in your post) and after 3-4 weeks, exactly on Christmas, it should look like the one that you shared!

Thanks for sharing the baklava recipe in so much detail!

It is really hard to do. Maybe that is the reason it is not that common to do Baklava except special days.
I think at this point somethings are really universal. Just there is a change with the names. Normally my mom was going to do it with wheat as well but then she realized she doesn't have time for this and made it with green lentil.
