Hello Foodies Bee Hive community. I’m here again with another recipe to share. This time I’m going to show you a chicken recipe which is usually cooked using charcoal but, I cooked it using a pan. Since we don’t have some barbeque grill to be used. Honestly, this was my first time doing this and I didn’t expect that it would become a delicious and flavorful chicken recipe. Adding pineapple syrup to it was also an addition to its flavor.
So, join me in my humble kitchen as I share to you how I prepared and cooked this delicious and flavorful chicken recipe.
Ingredients:
- ½ kg. chicken thigh
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp. banana ketchup
- 3 tbsp. vinegar
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- ½ cup pineapple syrup
- Pineapple tidbits
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp. pepper
- 2 laurel leaves
Preparation:
Put all the ingredients that was mentioned above then mix it very well in the chicken, I also cut some parts of the chicken so that it will absorb all the ingredients. Marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight then put it in a refrigerator.
After one hour of marinating the chicken, we can now cook it in a pan.
Cooking time:
Add a small amount of cooking oil in a pan, then sear both sides of the chicken. When it becomes slightly brown. Add the marinate of the chicken then set the fire into low medium heat.
Flip the chicken occasionally so that it will not be overcooked on the other side, I flip the chicken every 3 minutes.
When the marinate sauce started to thickens, set the fire into its lowest, and then add the pineapple chunks, then wait until the chicken is well coated and the oil comes out. It’s already cooked when there is no more sauce on the pan.
Then we have it, chicken barbeque cooked in a pan with pineapple chunks.
This recipe was best accompanied with a white rice and if you have a chicken oil it would also be a best pair.
That’s all my hiver friends of this community, till’ next cooking blog. Have a wonderful day to all of you 😊.
Sincerely,
@saijan19
