Did you use a tube of refrigerated biscuit dough? Or did you make it yourself? I'm wondering if it makes much difference in how it turns out and/or how long to bake it; I try hard to avoid pre-made products as much as possible,since so many of them contain GMO ingredients, and preservatives.
Yes, I used a tube of biscuit dough. That is the only time I use them. I agree, I rarely buy anything pre-made also.
Over the past several years, as I learned more and more about what's in the food we buy at the store, I have been changing the way I cook. I shudder when I think of the things I fed to my children thirty years ago when I didn't know any better. I also cringe when I see what my youngest daughter is feeding her little girl. But she is a single mom, working full time, and simply hasn't enough money to buy organic foods, nor does she have the time and the energy to always prepare healthy meals. I think she would make more of an effort if she truly understood the issues at hand,but she's too tired to absorb that information right now.
