We have never been to Italy, but I know for sure why my son will be happy to visit it - it's a country of pasta!
My son is ready to eat it every day! btw just like me;))
So I know where he has taken it from;))
I know it's not the healthiest type of food, but if we take gluten-free or whole-wheat flour pasta or pasta made of high protein wheat, then it's much better than ordinary one, and we can eat it more often:)
You see?
I always look at the amount of protein in pasta
If it's less than 14g for 100g then it's NOT healthy type of wheat, and it will add you extra weight for sure.
Many factories write on pasta that it's healthy, but if we look at protein it will be just 11-12, so it's LIE.
Now I share with you one of our favourite pasta recipes - mushroom pasta
We take:
- onion
- carrot
- pasta
- mushrooms
- plant oil
- plant milk
- salt, pepper, spices, turmeric
I cut onions and grind carrots and stew them together for 5 min.
Then I add cut mushrooms there and stew them 10 min more.
Meanwhile pasta is being cooked.
This type is cooked for 7-10 min. Not for 3-5 min like not healthy one, so I am waiting patiently.
Then I add pasta to mushrooms and veggies and pour some plant milk there. Together they will taste super good!
Ready!
