I kept these steaks for quite some time in my freezer and although I try not to eat meat, yet sometimes, once or twice a month, I decide to have a meat-related meal. Due to various health reasons, it is advisable for me to have it my diet – just a little - therefore I try to think of easy and tasteful recipes to share with you. Here is one!

Ingredients: 400gr pork in small steaks, a couple of lemons, oregano, 100ml white wine – the drinkable one, 50ml olive oil, 1-2 tsp of Dijon mustard, salt and pepper to taste

If you keep your meat in the freezer, take it out and let it come to room temperature at its time. Then in a bowl mix well 1-1.5 lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, mustard and wine. Poor this mixture all over the meat and let it soak well. After a couple of hours, put your meat with the juices in a small tray and place it in the preheated oven at 200 C’ degrees for about an hour. Towards the end and if it hasn’t browned, increase the oven heat to 250 C’.

Once ready, take out and serve according to your tastes. You can eat it either hot or in room temperature. You can add more lemon or olive oil and fresh oregano. Enjoy!
