Hi Everyone,
If you're wandering around Chula's famous Banthat Thong food street, you can’t miss Nueng Nom Nua (หนึ่ง นม นัว) a hugely popular dessert restaurant known for its Japanese-style milk bread (shokupan) and flavored chilled milks. The boy logo outside the store is like the landmark of this street.
This famous spot serves bite-sized toast skewers, perfectly crisped on the outside and fluffy inside which are made in-store. The dish is so famous thanks to the yummy dips you can choose when ordering. We picked the top 3 dips which were the Pandan & Coconut milk custard, salted egg yolk custard and Hokkaido milk cream from Japan. They also offer toast sets with scoops of ice cream and "lava" fillings for those after something richer but there were only two of us, so we couldn’t finish it all if we ordered something else on top. The bread was just delicious with the dips.
We also ordered their signature cold milk, including the classic and chocolate versions, all served in ice-cold tumblers. The milk could be bought take away which is popular for those who can’t wait for a table or if the line is too long. We didn’t have to wait for a table luckily as we arrived early so do try to get there around 4-5pm before the dinner crowds get in.
