Hello all, hope all of you are doing fine and it's the weekend. Both my wife and I were busy with our work and stretched our work hours a little which caused us to have our dinner a little later than usual. And because of that, dining location gets a little limited but thankfully, we were still able to find a place to fill our stomach and they serve really nice food.
The Place

There are multiple outlets available islandwide across Singapore and I am really thankful for that. It is like a saviour for us to not need us to scurry around many places to find a place for dinner. This is a place that is located at The Rail Mall, which is a small segment of a series of shophouses that are built beside the rail track. This place is more accessible by car than by public transport and have a decent amount of parking available.
Here's how the place looks like:
As you can see, this is a nice and cozy dining place. There were ample of seats with people coming in continuously. The place is really nice and it has a system of its own. Usually curry is served when your food is served, especially for food such as prata, thosai and murtabak. But it is totally different here, curry is free flow and there is a counter for it, you can choose between fish or meat curry. So whenever you need more, you can head back to the curry counter and top up. How cool is that! In general the eating environment looks really good and I like how they setup this curry and cutlery counter as these are typical stuff that can be self helped rather than waiting for the staff to serve you. So let's move on to the food.
The Food
This really has a system on their own. So prior to ordering, we will need to tell the cashier which table we are seated at and upon ordering, all you need is just collect your curry and cutlery then wait at your table for the food to be served. Very different from other places where a waiter will take your order.

Yes, we did not order a lot as it was already quite late. So just a simple dinner before we wrap up the day. Will feature more on the murtabak as it was unique and taste really good. And the price is good, we spend less than $25 Singapore dollars.
Ultimate Murtabak
The star of tonight's dinner. However if you look at this picture, you will be like, isn't this just an ordinary murtabak, maybe look slightly bigger than usual. What is special is what lies inside. Now let's take a look at what is inside.
So what's inside is actually tandoori chicken, cheese and mushroom. And the blend and proportion were just made to perfection. Every bite has that amount of cheese that is not overpowering, the bouncy bite from the mushroom and the spice grilled tandoori chicken. A superb combination and I guess that is why they dare to name this the ultimate murtabak. First time I ever tried this and I have to say I am really impressed. Crispy outsides with a whole load of goodness inside. This really makes a nice meal by itself.
Butter Chicken
We were a little worried that the murtabak wasn't enough to fill us so we ordered an extra butter chicken as this is one of our favourite dishes when coming to such a store. All was good, the sauce for the butter chicken is more herby than what I usually get and in terms of the butter is also on the lighter side. But nevertheless, it is also a very good combination done by the shop to serve a nice plate of butter chicken which is not shortchanging us of meat as we manage to eat nice amount of meat in the serving plate instead of seeing just bones. Not the best butter chicken I tasted but certainly way above average.
Overall:
A simple place which served above average food and they are available all day because they operate 24 hours. The menu for this shop is huge and we only tasted 2 out of the so many available. For sure we need to come back for more and I know from my other friends whom visited this place, they are famous for experimenting with new flavours and making fusion to the food they serve. Looking forward to enjoying their food and maybe bringing friends over since it is spacious and a nice place to hang out
