There is an indigenous tribe that sees the future as something that is behind us,and the past as something that is ahead. For them,it is important to look to the past first to use the knowledge. The future comes later because it is unknown. Curious, right? #reflection #thoughts
This is actually high-level wisdom ... quantum physics has even shown that all of time has been laid out from the beginning, so the past and the future are actually all there ... the Scripture confirms that and also says that nothing can be done that has not been done before ...
Thank you for sharing your knowledge about this.I think they defined time as linear to organize society, but that's not how it works.I feel like everything that happens is happening in the Now.However,it is difficult to understand, because the culture of linear time is very strong.
Everything that happens IS happening now ... where we are actually PRESENT ... that's left even in English ... we can only act where we are PRESENT... and if we are FINITE, that means that everything in human PRESENCE, throughout all time, must CYCLE ... history repeats!
I like this particular scripture. There's no new thing in this world, everything has happen before. I always see it play out time without number. All the new things we see, King Solomon said, we will see them and say, look, that is something new but look closely, it's not.
I think it's because you can always learn from the past and make better decisions for the future.
Yes, that's exactly the reason. And when it comes to indigenous culture, where they greatly value their elders and ancestors, this makes even more sense.
