My 2 Hive for why @ecency 's proposal got approved and @peakd 's didn't.

Ecency is always posting relevant material interacting with the #community, being part of it.

@asgarth and Peakd in general seems to treat what they are doing more like a job and are not as active in the community... Thoughts?

If you are active in our Discord you can see I'm online for plenty of hours each day. Usually requests and suggestions are handled in a matter of hours and often the changes are live on the website on the same day a user report the problem.

Also if you check out my blog you can see how every single post has a bunch of comments and I reply almost to every single one: https://peakd.com/@asgarth

In contrast this is what you see on the Ecency blog. I cannot be sure, but to me it looks like a blog powered for the most part by AI generated content. Back in the days it would have been labelled as "reward farming".

I didn't see any evidence or even an allegation that Ecency is using AI to create their posts, but the thumbnails most certainly are created using AI, which seems to be the case for people posting on Hive that have no real life that involves touching grass, which is most...

I just pasted the latest post text in an AI detector: 100% chance it was AI generated.

I have nothing against AI text, my blog is also heavily backed by AI. My argument is that what you wrote about one project being active while the other is not is false.

Thumbnails are not main content, text is. Images are there to just show quick relevance or familiarity. But text and guides, feature explanations are main material that we use for web2 cross marketing as well.

I don't mind the AI images, nor the AI text. I use that as well. I was just answering to a user about PeakD not being active in the community and pushing the wrong example.

This is dev level not community level interaction

Interesting perspective, thanks for sharing reference link. Yes thumbnails are ai generated but content is not and it is relevant to features we deliver and guides are there to renew some of the old ones. We started more actively posting because we are cross promoting those to web2 sites as marketing material as well. Will check referencing content

Reason might be just financials or other factors, we lowered to bare minimum to keep Ecency running and online.

Great

Do you just reply for visibility, because relevance and meaningfulness seem to lack from you consistently?
