I was thinking how before we used to get better payouts. But also I also think that a lot of power is concentrated on very few. So I wish there was a mechanism to rotate the proposal holders, so that they need to start from scratch each time. Most of the DHF funds are going to the keychain development which is past beyond usable and I don't think we should spend that much money on that software.
That’s an interesting point... better distribution of influence and stronger accountability for DHF funding could be worth discussing.
Not just accountability, but also a true re-ingeneering of the proposal system. I think most people don't vote, and when they do it, is because they are somehow hold hostage. We rely too much on keychain, and keychain make it too easy to vote. That's a competitive advantage over other developers that would rather need that funding.
I see your point... perhaps the proposal system itself deserves a deeper rethink to create a fairer playing field for developers.
I can understand that... downvotes can definitely feel discouraging. Maybe a better approach could balance abuse prevention while keeping genuine users motivated. 🐝
I would go against people like Hivewatchers that have blacklisted many new users.
It doesn't look good policing everyone but anyways. If you don't like the content just ignore rather than ....people will leave.
I know, but some people need to start naming names. Hivewatchers is a censorship clan that takes a lot of newcomers out of Hive forever. It should be defunded and expelled. I personally dont care if their content is plagiarize, I understand is a problem to some people, but I don't really care to be honest. Rather have 20% plagiarize or AI derived content than 50% less content.
I understand the concern... finding the right balance between protecting original content and keeping newcomers around is definitely important.
I acknowledge and agree with you, aren't they posting it on other very popular social networks, I don't see any use of such things on decentralised chains. If you don't like something just ignore why harassing people, anyways.
