Its been a minute since I have posted anything but I have been working on a personal project, HIVE related and Scrobble related, Im a big fan of what Scrobble is and what @acidyo has been cooking, since I started using the extension I wanted to scrobble from mobile (Android) but at the time I think there was no client so decided to build myself, atm untangling the spaghetti code and looking into security too, it works with Youtube only for now and I will be integrating Spotify before I finally release it, hopefully by the end of the month, here some recent screenshots, my test account scrobbling from mobile https://scrobble.life/u/skiptvads.vidz , this is just me having some fun and supporting HIVE ✌️....btw its going to be opensource 😝

Forgiveness is easy to talk about but often difficult to practice. When someone hurts us, saying “I forgive you” may be simple, but letting go of the anger, disappointment, and pain can take much longer.
Forgiving does not mean forgetting what happened or pretending that the person did nothing wrong sometimes, it simply means choosing peace over bitterness and allowing yourself to move forward.
True forgiveness takes courage, patience, and healing, and it may not happen immediately, but when we finally let go, we free ourselves from carrying the burden of the past.

It's easy to forgive, but the most difficult part lays one forgetting. I think forgiving is not really about the offended but about the person that was offended. When you forgive, you find peace and that's all the reason there is to forgive
Yes forgiveness is most especially beneficial to the person performing the act of forgiving because it gives you a certain level of peace of mind.
First off, I wouldn't say it is easy to forgive, maybe depending on what the other party did though. Also, forgiving has everything to do with us, yeah, it is about you having peace, cause there are times the person who offends you may not really see it as something big and all..
..but you will be there keeping malice with him or not having a free mind towards him. And forgetting is not easy, it is not even mandatory to. Once you forgive, then anytime you remember what transpired, you won't feel the pain like before again. So, forgive for your peace sake.

I saw the live action years ago, it was quite awful... lol. There were 2 movies actually. But the effects are very bad.

Would you employ or retain a person less qualified but teachable, or a more qualified but arrogant and not teachable person?
I’d choose the teachable person... skills can improve, but a bad attitude can affect the whole team.

- Cnsume only educational or religious content.
- People like me who are there for the educational, personal development and entertaining content.

Oh, so today you could be the mindless scroller and tomorrow the one who consumes intentional content?
For me tho, I fall into the last category. I love all forms of content because they serve their purpose. I just try to remember that there's a time for everything and I consume accordingly.
So in a day, I shuffle between social media gists, political news, educational podcasts, relationship videos(few times), and graduate scholarship tips.
It kinda creates a balance for me against everything.
But I think I see how it's more convenient for you to go as your mood feels, which can also be spontaneous. I love spontaneity, so it's not bad.

I would go for number three. Most times I go to YouTube for styles to make out feet to get clarification on something I'm confused about most times is you to or chat GPT I love making research
That's nice! YouTube and ChatGPT have both made things easier for everyone. I also go to those applications when I'm trying to get more indepth answers on a question I've got.
However, I think YouTube tops it all. The only thing might be that many channels structure if you're trying to gather enough information and you might have a hard time finding one with comprehensive details on what you need.
I know you said you fall into the third category but you seem more like someone who's committed to productivity than various forms of information or content. Not so?
All the same, I love it for you. Curiosity and research goes hand in hand, and since you have a likeness for it, you're well on your way to being a more grounded individual.
I don't really do social media. I deleted FB, Instagram, snap and even X. YouTube is mainly for self dev. Every once in a blue moon, I do download X and FB just to see what I'm missing out on. X is mostly to follow Iran war, and smother happenings

Anyway, it might interest you to know that I also uninstall my social apps. However, mine is often calculated except when I'm overwhelmed.
I intentionally take breaks to focus on my hobbies or other productive skills, especially if I feel I'm getting too distracted and it helps.
It's good too that you remember to check in once a while to catch up. At least you're not entirely in the dark.

I almost never go online in search of religious related content so no way will I be found in the second category.

I was thinking how before we used to get better payouts. But also I also think that a lot of power is concentrated on very few. So I wish there was a mechanism to rotate the proposal holders, so that they need to start from scratch each time. Most of the DHF funds are going to the keychain development which is past beyond usable and I don't think we should spend that much money on that software.

Not just accountability, but also a true re-ingeneering of the proposal system. I think most people don't vote, and when they do it, is because they are somehow hold hostage. We rely too much on keychain, and keychain make it too easy to vote. That's a competitive advantage over other developers that would rather need that funding.
I see your point... perhaps the proposal system itself deserves a deeper rethink to create a fairer playing field for developers.

I know, but some people need to start naming names. Hivewatchers is a censorship clan that takes a lot of newcomers out of Hive forever. It should be defunded and expelled. I personally dont care if their content is plagiarize, I understand is a problem to some people, but I don't really care to be honest. Rather have 20% plagiarize or AI derived content than 50% less content.
I understand the concern... finding the right balance between protecting original content and keeping newcomers around is definitely important.

Like you said, some good and some bad. We've all had to make either a big or a small decision at some point in life which definitely changes something. One of it for me is going back to school even after dropping out to care for my health.I'm not sure where I would have been now.

This happens in the world we live in today, mostly in Nigeria. Many people learn skills, which is good, but then, they forget about school afterwards. That's when you'll start hearing the saying - "school na scam." it is very important to go to school first.

Honestly, I haven't been active on Hive long enough to have a lot of personal experiences here, but from what I've seen in recently, I think I'd miss the conversations and my comments engagement most.

Probably how different people's opinions can be. You read a post and then see completely different perspectives underneath it.

Maybe, but I don't think it's exactly the same. Hive seems to have a different kind of interaction.

I think it's mostly the atmosphere. From what I've observed, people seem more willing to actually explain their opinions.
