I'm willing to give ads a chance if it benefits the community but I need to be able to tone down the brightness of the ad panel. :)

Could be Brave browser. You can also turn them on/off in Peakd settings. I just turned mine off for now. :)
I reckon you're worth a bunch of people from other countries, as the US traffic is among the most valuable one :) Compared to that one from say Venezuela or India. So you indeed do your share :)
I don't know how much revenue this generates, but Hive needs revenue to finance everything.
Yeah, I haven't seen any revenue projections or how it would be spent. I've turned them off for now and would probably need a very compelling argument for them to turn them back on.
I just turned them off ... not trying to have Web 2's worst intrusions in my Web 3.
I did the same. It really is against how I've been trying to change/live my life for the last 20 years. Will probably leave them off for good.
Same here ... maybe not 20 years for me, but a good 10. I refuse to be bullied into consumerism everywhere I go online. I understand PeakD is looking for ways to bring revenue to Hive, but this is not what we came here for.
I agree. I see things a lot more clearly now. I played the game for far to long not realizing it was rigged. I know change is possible but we may need to hit a very deep and painful bottom before that can occur. Fortunately, or not, that bottom may be closer than we know. :)
