Farcaster that raised $150 mil at $1bil valuation is getting acquired by a company that raised $11 million USD. Neynar or something. Pretty much tells you we are probably looking at a complete failure.
😅 this is the kind of situation or moments that makes you pause…most times when a company valued at $1B ends up being acquired by one that raised a fraction of that, it raises real questions because howwwwww???? 😂
Now people would question so many things like traction, ability to sustain and how much of the valuation was narrative versus reality.. sometimes we know that the real information is not gonna be disclosed

- Fixed ethereum wallet
- fixed most of the rounded borders, now defined by theme
- revamped the /compose page, for mag posts
- improve the post action button styles
- added a delete button for snaps
- made skatehive more easy to fork, cleaned env variables

Cave rock in Los Tres Ojos, Dominican Republic. This environment was submerged under water and ice, then it was exposed as the last ice age came to an end. One can tell by the crystalline smoothness and cavities that this is no ordinary specimen.
Those caves have been around for thousands of years. Their geology is stunning.
The eerie fog has blanketed much of the city for over a week. I had to check things out myself to ensure that no interdimensional rift had opened. The conditions for photography were tricky because of the low light.
I kept looking nervously around me, but thankfully no slithering interdimensional denizen showed up.
I almost missed this shot because the vehicle was going too fast. I'm glad I changed my mind.
I like how that shot turned out. It was a split-second decision to turn and point the camera.
Yesterday power outage lasted from 7AM to 11PM (16 hrs). Then 6 hours with power in the night. Today it was off at 6AM. We'll see for how long it lasts. I really need a shower. 😬
Meanwhile, the park nearby:
16 hrs is a long term indeed but less than my maximum - 25 hrs.
The snow will start melting soon, so I enjoy it while I can.

Trying to cancel Xfinity internet. This is a pain beyond what anyone knows. I am at minute 25(that I've been tracking) of this saga.
Finally, someone helpful! Getting transferred to the right department rather than telling me to go to a store or call!
Oh nice. I do love internet providers. My has a new tactic of avoiding talking to me. They hide the only way to talk to an agent behind lines and lines of prerecorded messages, vague options, number clicking and random offers.
They are the best.

I've encountered hotel bathrooms with glass doors and it seems to be on the increase. Some people are angry about this.

People easily want to withdraw... without thinking why they actually can...
Today what you withdraw might be 10 USD worth of all you efforts... next year, it might be 1000 if you haven't withdrawn it.
That's true but sometimes there might be emergency cases that pushes one to withdraw against their wish.
Anyone can do what they wish. What I was trying to target is this sort of message... "do you know what you lose if you withdraw... as in, do you know what other things can you do with it besides accumulating it and playing with its price?" - And I know I didn't mention that part.
I know everyone can do whatever they want. But maybe some need to know more... I was trying to be provocative to maybe insight some discovery.
I can't stop people using Hive to do whatever they want with it... but I know many just do it because they don't know what else to do with it. So, they withdraw it.
