I've always held onto the words that you'll be treated just as you do to others.
But in this recent times, I don't know what to make of that anymore. Not when you treat people as good as you can possibly be and in return, they threw stones at you.
Well, still holding on to it.
Many people actually face this thing you're saying. Treat people with care and they walk over you. They don't return the care you show, rather, they treat you like you're desperate for them and their attention. They'll think you want something in return,
Or they'll probably think that you're into them, so, they start behaving anyhow. On the there hand, when you show people nonchalance, they tend to be attracted to you. They would want to come close to you and do things just so they can get a bit of your attention
Life is just like that. I've been in this situation before. I've seen how people get walked over and I've been walked over because I cared. When you care less for people and ignore their feelings, they would behave right knowing that you don't really give a damn.
You know it's pretty much easier said than done.
But still works well in most cases. But for those who are always so invested in "what people will say", I can't help but pity them 😂.
Thing is, people will always talk. If you do good, they'll talk. If you do bad, they'll talk. The only option is just satisfy your conscience. Do good the way you know how to and try not to be too caring.
