Dabeli dhokla
This recipe is the combination of two of the best vegetarian Gujrati dishes that are loved by everyone
This dabeli dhokla is a gem of a dish that wins everyone heart
Dhokla ingredients:-
- suji- 1 cup
- curd- 1 cup
- garlic, ginger and chili paste- 2 tea spoon
- salt- 1/2 tea spoon
- turmeric - 1/2 tea spoon
- eno powder- 1 packed
Dabeli ingredients :-
- oil - 1 table spoon
- dabeli masala- 3 tea spoons
- red chili powder- 2 tea spoon
- turmeric - 1/2 tea spoons
- salt- 1/2 tea spoon
- taramind chutney- 3 tea spoon
- potato boiled - 4 mashed
- onion- 1 chopped
- coriander leave- chopped
For garnishing :- - roasted peanut - 1/4 cup
- pomegranate - 1/4 cup
- coriander leave- 1/4 cup
- barik sev- 1/4 cup
Method:-
First of all wash the potatoes, boil them and grate them. Now heat oil in a pan and fry them by adding (Dabeli masala, red chilli powder, salt, turmeric)
Then add grated potatoes
and tamarind chutney
Mix it well, then turn off the gas, add chopped onion and coriander leaves and mix
Dabeli mixture is ready
Now heat a pan and roast peanuts on low flame
And peel it and break it into two pieces
To make Dhokla, put 1 cup semolina in a bowl
Add (curd,
Salt, turmeric
and
Add ginger, green chilli, garlic paste and mix well. Cover and keep aside for 2 hours. After 2 hours, mix Eno in the mixture.
Add some water
Mix well and apply oil
Put it in a tin
Keep aside for 20 minutes for steaming
After 20 minutes
After removing and cooling down, take out the dhokla in a plate
For Tadka:-
Heat 3 tsp oil, add mustard seeds and asafoetida and turn off the gas after crackling
Now apply the tadka on the dhokla
Now garnish the dhokla by spreading the prepared dabeli masala
Serve by adding (roasted peanuts, pomegranate seeds, coriander leaves and fine sev) on it will do
