Yeah I think, like me but perhaps to a much more serious extent, people tend to fall into the learned helplessness trap far too easily; coddled and affirmed by the internet, which just makes people fall all the more quickly.

I'm quite proud of my social media feed as there's very little doom & gloom now, while also keeping me aware of the world's news (which is largely doom & gloom). Really gotta work the algorithm to get things just right.

As for the Oura ring, that's the posh one right? I decided against it due to subscription fees, this Ringconn 2 is free after purchase! (although they literally jsut released the third generation, annoyingly)
