The genus Bischoffitilla is an interesting example in the world of insects and especially those belonging to the cicadellidae family, this family includes various types of aphids which are often found on various plants, both in natural habitats and on cultivated plants, Bischoffitilla itself is a genus of small insects that have important role in ecosystems, both in their interactions with plants and also their impact on agriculture.

Bischoffitilla is included in the group of aphids which have a relatively medium body size (not small & not large), their bodies are elongated and encased in a hard exoskeleton, like other insects in general they also have three main body parts, namely head, thorax and abdomen. Their heads are equipped with two antennae and a mouthpart like a saw which is used to eat leaf fibers. In some of the photos that I have attached there you can find traces of their bites on the leaves.

Bischoffitilla have very transparent wings and even my cellphone camera was unable to capture the position of their wings, look closely and you will see that they don't have wings, from the observations I made where their wings have a pattern of spots and stripes. very distinctive fine lines, their flight movements are very agile and fast, but they are more often between one plant to another than flying through the air, when I took pictures the bischoffitilla was always moving around and I really had difficulty get a position they are good to immortalize.

I also observed the feeding behavior of Bischoffitilla, I discovered the fact that they feed in groups where a number of individuals gather on the same leaf, and I noticed this behavior would very quickly cause damage to the plant as you will see in each picture below, all the small white holes are their bite marks, from this I understand that Bischoffitilla has a negative impact on agriculture if their population is not controlled, for effective handling of Bischoffitilla I still lack information, but if on your farm they start to arrive in large numbers maybe you You can use general pesticides to prevent further damage to the plants.
