Your first line felt like a personal challenge.
Surprisingly, it was satisfying to read a mundane post. I've been in a Courtroom all this week so I could report on a trial of a local School Board Member for extortion and other trials. He was convicted, which was satisfying - but the process was surprisingly exhausting.

Each day I would listen intently and write 25+ pages of notes, and then come home and condense that into something approachable and relatively concise.

I've never attempted to report on a trial before so it was definitely a learning experience for me. In any event my brain is fried!

        I had a feeling that opening line would have the opposite intended effect, but just hoped nobody would actually read past that. I suppose not lol.

        Congratulations on hitting the outcome you desired!

        I do have some other prewritten content from my residency adventures in which I condensed quite a bit of information into something more palatable. I'll publish those eventually. At least they should be somewhat interesting to read!
