There are as many people believe unchangeable things in our lives for example something that we have planned and it is not subject to any changes.
For example we booked a room in a hotel on the seashore and the next day we planned to go to the sunny seaside with the whole family.
But on the dinner table there was a cucumber salad that I bought at the local market very beautiful very appetizing cucumbers you know those little ones with pimples that scream: Bite off a piece of me!
Yes, we ate this salad and who would have thought that there were more nitrates in these cucumbers than cucumbers themselves and by the evening we were all suffering from severe poisoning.
But, our plans are unbreakable lol I gathered my strength went to the pharmacy bought enterogel and other drugs that absorb nitrates and relieve nausea and other manifestations of poisoning and in the morning although suffering we went to the sea.
There were thoughts of spitting on the vacation but no we wanted it and as it turned out the owner of the hotel forgot to mark our reservation and his employees rented our room to other people and we were forced to look for another hotel at the peak of the season but instead found a bunch of other problems.
Sometimes it is useful to change plans in something important and in something less significant and today I changed some of my plans with a light heart especially since this idea seemed funny to me.
For us our plans seem like a guiding star but for God our plans are no more solid support than streams of water in a fountain.
Today the weather is great the day is beautiful and I wanted to write my post today about it and for this I searched my photo archive for photos of beautiful swans that were supposed to illustrate my thoughts.
And so having climbed into the June archive of photos of 2019, I found photos of a swan and... in the same folder were stored photos of my first work in watercolor that I painted on a regular sheet of A4 paper for printing on a printer.
Today I saw a beautiful watercolor work Watercolour Painting 'White Tulips' which Dear @bleujay shared in his post very exquisite and I would say bold work and having my watercolor work in front of me I realized that I have a good reason to laugh at myself which sometimes can be useful and write a post about changing plans which as you see really changed.
So, I depicted a tense atmosphere at sea where a sailboat is surrounded by a school of voracious sharks but I believe that God will send a fair wind in the sails and this man despite the dangers will be able to reach his native shore.
At that time five years ago I painted only with a ballpoint pen with blue ink and it was just my entertainment and it looked like a clear plan but that day it changed.
In front of me was a drawing that is incompatible with watercolor because as a rule for a watercolor sketch a graphite pencil is used and light contours are applied to minimize their visibility on the finished work but I decided to take a risk.
There were two significant problems here firstly I have no experience working with watercolors and the second problem is that the paper on which I was working is absolutely not designed for working with watercolors it quickly absorbs water and turns into a soft blotter which can lead to a hole in the paper, so I worked very carefully.
After each fragment I needed to let the paper dry and only then work with layers.
The paper quickly deformed and it was like the work of a body repairman who has to understand the point of tension of the sheet steel of a wing or hood of a car when he gives a point discharge of current with a semiautomatic welding machine.
On the one hand I wanted to be more courageous in my approach to the work but this was not the case when common sense allowed it.
When the first layer of watercolor on the paper dried up I was able to try to add layers.
I wanted to minimize the visibility of the lines from the ballpoint pen and to some extent I managed to do this.
As a result I got such a work in watercolor.
Over the past five years, I only took brushes and watercolor paints in my hands three times somehow I did not manage to instill this business in myself but who knows maybe one day I will change my plans again buy paper for working with watercolors and open my set of watercolor paints.
