RE: Change of plans.

Greetings @barski ,

What a beautiful post.....the lovely photography of the swan and the artistic one as well...the stunning watercolour.....just splendid.

Your idea of how to handle the watercolour was exactly correct....layer, let dry, layer.

Watercolour acts according to the paper used as you have noted....if one changes paper brand or weight...they must practice to know how much water to bring to the paper as each paper absorbs it differently and it also has to do with the brushes...artificial hair brushes bring less water to the paper and is sometimes preferable depending on the paper.....whereas with heavier papers,..natural hair is the better choice as they being more water to the paper...and then practice pratice.

Having said that....Your watercolour painting is simply splendid.....the drawing is strong and carries the work.

Kind Regards,

Bleujay

NB Appreciate the reblog and the mention...very kind of you...thank you!

Thanks @bleujay for the kind words addressed to my modest work!
As for the brushes and the watercolors themselves, I have no reason to complain about them, as they are some of the best in the world. I bought them for my children when they were studying at an art school, but I have very few skills, but if I have the material, I mean paper, I can try to draw something :)
Blessings to you!
