I'd like to thank everyone who took part in my little “Share a dog pic” competition, where you had the chance to win 1 HSBI by sharing a photo of a dog.
There were 5 entries, some of which led to little discussions in the comments about the dog in the photo, the memories and emotions that our beloved companions are so prone to provoke in us.
For the title picture, I made a collage of all the dogs whose photos you were kind enough to share.
I can only imagine what a wonderful moment it would be for all these dogs to meet on this beautiful meadow.
As you may have guessed, everyone has won, and you'll each receive 1 HSBI.
Here are the names of the dogs, for those of you who let me know:
- The two German shepherds from @manuvert Genepi on the right, with her half-sister (same mother) Kaia.

- on the right Abas, an Anatolian shepherd by @florenceboens

Here's a little anecdote from my vacation with Samba and my girlfriend at a campsite by the ocean. Our friends hadn't joined us yet, and there was a little concert going on in the bar.
Samba was with us and we really wanted to dance.
A family at the next table was very interested in Samba, who was taking the opportunity to be petted. She never misses an opportunity, so I handed them the leash and offered to keep her while we danced.
In the end, everyone was able to enjoy it, and we spent the rest of the evening chatting with people we wouldn't have met if it hadn't been for Samba,
Dogs really are a social facilitator.

Je vous donne une petite anecdote de mes vacances avec Samba et ma compagne au camping au bord de l'océan, nos amis ne nous avaient pas encore rejoints et il y avait un petit concert au bar.
Samba était avec nous et nous avions bien envie de danser.
Une famille à la table voisine était très intéressée par Samba qui en profitait pour se faire caresser, elle ne rate pas une occasion, du coup je leur ai tendu la laisse en leur proposant de la garder pendant qu'on dansait.
Au final tout le monde a pu en profiter et nous avons passé la fin de la soirée à discuter avec ces gens que nous n'aurions pas abordé sans Samba, les chiens sont vraiment un facilitateur de lien social.
