Moon Karts is the first game launched by Arcade Colony. It's a play-to-earn racing game that allows players to earn tokens. To play the game, players need to buy NFTs which are available in packs or purchased in the market.
Kart and Driver
The basic NFTs required to join races are karts and driver. There are different karts and drivers in the game.
Karts
Astro Kart - The most basic and cheapest kart. Its stats are weaker than others, but it's ok for a beginner kart. It has a top speed of 70%, handling at 80%, health at 85%, and acceleration at 75%.
LunocityX is an Astral Kart, It has a top speed of 80%, handling at 70%, health at 85%, and acceleration at 80%. The LunocityX is more advanced that the Astro Kart.
Quasar Sport is also an Astral Kart. It has a top speed of 75%, handling at 80%, health at 85%, and acceleration at 75%. While not as fast as LunocityX, this kart is better at handling.
Nebula Guard is a Lunar Kart and better than the Astral Karts. It has a top speed of 90%, handling at 85%, health at 90%, and acceleration at 95%.
Arachno Eclipse is another Lunar Kart with a top speed is 85%, handling at 90%, health of 95% and acceleration of 90%.
Clearly, the best karts are the Lunar Karts.
Drivers
There are several drivers to choose from and each has different abilities. Driver's abilities have an impact on the kart's performance. The table shows the starting (level 1) abilities of each driver.
Other NFTs
Aside from the basic moon kart and driver NFTs, players may also opt to buy car parts such as wheels, engines and armor plating to enhance the performance of their Karts. Players can also buy power ups or weapons. These can give the karts speed boosts or disrupt the opponent kart.
