Self-Service Ramen Experience at K3 Mart : Enjoy Yourself Cooking at Convenience Store

in Eating Out6 days ago

Experience the sensation of cooking in a Korean-style convenience store. It provides food and drinks similar to those in Korean dramas. The name of the place is K3 Mart Merdeka. The interior is like something out of a Korean drama.

You can mix your own drinks with ice cubes and choose from a variety of options, ranging from Americanos to sodas in many flavors. This is my choice, there is a sour and fresh taste.

Just like in Korean dramas, I decided to cook my own ramyeon/noodles. There are many different types of noodles, which makes it difficult to choose one. You can choose from various brands according to your taste.

First, choose the noodles you want, then go to the cashier and tell them you will cook them yourself. There is an additional cost of 15 thousand rupiah ($1). The cashier will give you a pot, one egg, and direct you to the instant noodle cooking area in the corner of the room.

There, you will find a thermos of hot water, a stove, and other equipment, such as scissors, tissues, chopsticks, and silicone gloves.

I chose the creamy rose cream sauce-flavored fried noodles. A cooking guide is posted on the right side of the cooking station.

First, briefly boil the noodles in the provided hot water to your desired level of doneness. Then, place the pot on the stove and press the silver button on the side of the stove.

Wait for the noodles to finish cooking, then pour the cooking water down the sink. Then, add the condiments to taste.

Enjoy your finished noodles while they are still hot, sipping a made-drink alongside them.

Enjoy the view of the street from the shop window.
This was one of the most exciting dining experiences I've ever had.
