This garden season in Croatia is really good. Almost every vegetable or fruit is growing good. Especially fruits.
I was picking figs all around island Krk & what I could not eat, I set up in boxes & left in the car directly on the heat of Sun to dry so to have dried figs for the winter.

Even though there were few heat waves this summer, some root-based plants survived the draught. My father planted onion and I dug it out.

My father was also planting peas & he had too much seeds so he gave me the rest to plant. I also planted the bih green beans which we call bob in Croatian.

This mushroom season is 8good at all. Morels season in the springtime was the season in the last 4 years. Later on, season of porcini or any other species was not good, except I was lucky to find a new habitat of goat foot mushrooms & pickes few kilos.
I was sometimes making bread cause I do not eat any bread from the shops or bakeries
some of that bread paste I used to make pizza with last year's dried porcini and black trumpets with a cheese similar to the fresh cottage one and green, young garlic buds
Recently my mother inherited some land where I am camping often for the 2-3 months & there I found a mulberry tree.
I was so happy for these mulberries in the early summer
It was the 1st time after many years, since the pear was planted & the pulms grew up from the old root of the plums that my father cut down, that they gave fruit. I was also very happy to get those fruits.
