RE: The Uninvited Guests Can Stay, For Now... | A HiveGarden Journal

Beautiful photos! I'm making my own compost this year, it's my first time making it. The resulting dirt is dark and rich, very full of nutrients and the plants are loving it. Yes, you do get some unexpected surprises, like potatoes growing and multiplying in the compost!

I once found a pineapple stem growing roots in the compost! I planted it in the garden, and sure as fate, the plant grew. But it is not the right growing conditions here, but the plant has been growing for a year or so now.

The compost is wonderful if it works. I have grown so many plants and veggies/herbs with homemade compost throughout the years. I hope it goes well!
