Do you think there is a connection between lettuce and summer? I think there is, even far from it, that summer is the time for lettuce to grow well to provide a sense of security to the human body.
Often we do not realize that it turns out that every food that grows with soil or lives on earth must be created based on needs. For example, if there are tropical plants and fruits, they must be rich in elements that humans need during summer. I give an example of tropical fruit like pineapple, rich in water and vitamin C that humans need during summer to survive.
Same as lettuce. I see that this vegetable is really bright when summer comes. Living very well, even far from disturbance. Often I get very healthy lettuce, high enough water content to survive in the heat of the sun, although it likes to wilt when the heat of the sun is so strong.
This update is about how beautiful the view is in my garden, full of lettuce that is so beautiful and ready to harvest. I'm just waiting for the right weight to be harvested, getting a good price too. That's why, it's still in the pot and hydroponic box, it will be harvested in 2 or 3 days.
There are some that are still small, indeed I did not standardize the size and postponed some time so that the lettuce would still be there for the next few weeks. The distance is different by 10 days, but, it seems very ripe to continue growing and survive until the end of the season arrives.
The good thing when we have a hydroponic box like this, we can set the time to create a harvest distance between one box and another. That's what makes me very happy to continue to turn on hydroponics in my garden.
Last week I told you about my yellowing kale, now it's all gone, given to the neighbors who came. Only 2 boxes left, for us to eat tonight. made into stir-fried kale with sesame oil which is super rich in aroma and taste.
So that's this week's update, it's really fun to be able to grow together with them.
