RE: A Big House, Tiny Garden Update for March 2024

in HiveGardenlast year

I kept hearing about how hot it was there, but no one was sweating that I could see. And what about those earthquakes? DEWs or geoengineering? Oh now I'm talking myself out of going, good thing the older men were hot. Healthy is what I am most interested in. Someone who doesn't have contact information for thirty doctors stored in his phone.

I woke up in the early hours to find the building swaying from side to side. A little unnerving but I managed to get back to sleep!
Don't you dare talk yourself out of going! Aside from the earthquakes, the mosquitos and the heat, sure it's a fabulous place.

Mosquitos?! Earthquakes! Heat! The heat would be the hardest for me of those. I assume there is swimming very nearby to go cool off regularly. Why weren't people just wearing stuff to swim in? Go take a dip, slather on some essential oil, and hope the world doesn't go topsy turvy because we are all together.

The music jams with cool people are the biggest draw for me. And the parties, neither of which were broadcast. I really liked Paul Puey, who can explain very complex concepts. I understood what "homomorphic encryption" is for a second there!

I just sent a consultation request to Kaufman, and a request to be informed when his fellowship starts up. He's got a maneuverable website at least, but you have to take a very stupid quiz to get anywhere in it. Kind of like a scientology quiz, where none of the answers are what I could comfortably choose. My result was that I practice "conscious avoidance." I take umbrage to that!

Conscious avoidance? Hilarious! I'd say that's the last thing you practice.
There was actually a swimming pool but I never take my clothes off in public. I'll leave that to you:)
Yes, I agree with you on Paul Puey. Did you see Adam Bigelsen yet? Fascinating.

As you can see, I am sitting at my computer, or am very nearby my computer, without break. I'm watching this, a Kaufman interview that is excellent.

Just wear a big black T shirt into the pool! No body exposure! Cools you down for hours! Mine will not be black. So there wasn't a swimmable beach or other natural water nearby?

The problem with the replays, is that they are only of the events that occurred on the mainstage during daylight hours; a lot of stuff is not there. It's also hard to locate what you want to watch; a lot of the speakers don't interest me and there are no time stamps. I'll look for Bigelson though, I don't think I watched anything of his.

Thank you for seeing me differently from his stupid quiz.

I think I'll do the quiz myself for the laugh.

Oh do tell the results!

I found the Bigelsons, but the sound on the virtual one is really bad I can barely hear him. Sure wanna know the connection between breast cancer and teeth!!!

Oh thank you!!! Much easier than finding stuff on the replays!
