Yeah man I feel ya.. last year our garden did not do so well and it was really frustrating to see it mostly empty. But there's always next year.

Hope you can find some time off work to start one.. maybe you can do something low maintenance so just plant them and forget about them.. like fruit trees. They usually do not need much care and can be left alone for long periods of time.
