How is the weather in your place nowadays? Here, it started to have hot weather and intense humidity. Having weather like this is not really good for our health, so we must be careful and always stay hydrated and avoid too much exposure to sunlight, especially at noon.
In times like these, we should prioritize staying cool and hydrated. That is why I considered making a refreshment for my family to help beat the heat. And it's also because it's my husband's birthday, so I decided to make a homemade ice cream. Although we are selling ice cream in our little store and we can freely choose any flavor, I think it's different when you make it yourself and put much heart into it, no matter how simple it may seem, but I think it's more worth it and sweeter.
So, here's the homemade ice cream I made to beat the heat and for the special people in my life, my husband and my daughter @tegoshei of course, my super lablab...🥰❤❤
Cheese - Mango - Graham Ice Cream
INGREDIENTS:
- Cheese
- Mango
- Graham Crackers
- All Purpose Creamer
- Condensed Milk (Mango flavor and Natural flavor)
PREPARATION:
Chill all-purpose creamer and condensed milk overnight.
Wash the mangoes and then slice them. Scrape some slices of the mangoes thinly and mash them a bit, and then cut the remaining mangoes into small cubes.
Crack the Graham into small pieces.
Cut the cheese into small cubes.
Then set them all aside.
Prepare a big bowl and pour in the chilled all-purpose creamer. Then add the condensed milk. Stir or beat the mixture rapidly using a whisk until it becomes a bit thicker.
Add the scraped or mashed mango and cracked graham and mix them well by continuous whisking.
Then add some cheese and some cubed mangoes and continue mixing.
Transfer it into a molder or any container of your choice.
Finally, top with the remaining cheese and mango. Then put it in the freezer overnight.
Ta-da!!! It really tastes like a typical, flavorful ice cream. The texture is rich and smooth; the sweetness is balanced by the saltiness of the cheese.
We are really enjoying this cool treat. It helps us feel mentally and physically refreshed and is a great way to combat the heat. However, just do it once in a while. Drinking water is still the best for hydration and for combating the heat. Let's all prioritize our health to be in the best condition. It's tough to get sick.
