Hi, I am Arveno from Surabaya city. In this content i want to share that me and my little family trying new ramen in housing next door. It is located around 10 minutes from my house. I seen the banner last month but never tried it. And yeah this time we are trying it.
This place relatives new. I never seen this place before. I knew behind this there is apartement. But, this shophouse is really new. Maybe after this area finished then this Guri Ramen renting this building and started opening here. From outside this place is really neat and very charming. But, maybe The first impression of seeing this place is that it is expensive.
My son kinda excited to eat here. He said that this place is very huge and good looking.
For interior design, this place is really cool. It is like Japanese restaurant. Trully living in Japan.
and i kinda like this place too. They even displaying Gundam Toys in the middle of the restaurant.
Even inside restaurant there is mini Kids Arena too. So, while waiting the food is cooking, kids can play here too. And since it is inside the parents can look after while eating or while waiting from table.
Wow i like this Gundam Display. Really cool. I want one in home. But since i still renting house i am afraid it will bothering me when moving out. Since this Gundam Toys are fragile if moved frequently.
My wife pick using table and chair instead sitting on mat. I think so too. My son will hardly to eat if we are just sitting on mat instead on chair.
After seeing this menu, i think this restaurant is kinda affordable, not too expensive. Usual restaurant price i think. It cost around 1,5-3$.
But, not for the drink. This drink cost 1,5$ each. Thats more expensive than our meal. And this is not homemade too. This is like sachet drinks combined with milk. Maybe this is the way restaurant not getting bankrupt. For me nothing special from the drink but yet we are came for eating not hanging out and enjoying the drink.
Okay our food came. And this is look delicious. I am salivating just by looking and smell this food. Mine is Miso Ramen with Gyoza, My wife having Curry Ramen, and my Son is Miso Ramen. Mine and my son broth taste kinda same what make different is the chicken topping and gyoza topping.
My son very greedy this time, he likes this ramen. He said that this is the best ramen that he ever eat. And after i taste it, i think this ramen is still the best for Miso ramen and for greasy ramen. But, if talking about the noodle and taste totally i think i still prefer eating at Seng Kee Malaysia Noodle since in Seng Kee he provide Pork. And in this Guri Ramen all halal so no pork in here.
Right now he can eat by himself no need to guide or feed him anymore. Right now he can trully eating by himself in restaurant.
After eating i am lookin around the surroundings and they have display closet for manga and toys. I really love seeing this display. They are very neat and Cool also i think it maintain well. I think i need to build this showcase for my toys too in the future.
After enjoying looking this toys we are done eating and going back home.
But, before we are going home, my son asking me to take his picture in this pond area. I dont realize that he is narcistic now. If his narcistic gone too high i will sign him on modeling school or maybe i will teaching him to be youtuber. So, his narcistic is used well.
Okay, for the food, I really recommended u guys eating at Guri Ramen. I think Guri Ramen is Franchise restaurant. Wonder why i never tried it before with my wife. Or we are already tried it but in different place but we are forgot since we are eating lot of ramen. Back again, yes, if in your country there are Guri Ramen. I think you guys should try it. The broth is very umami. And the noodles are delicate. But, for the topping is like usual ramen, i think there are no difference with other franchise ramen restaurant. But, special in Surabaya city called Mulyosari area, you should come there, the vibes is really looks like in Japan. Thats why maybe in the future we are going eat there again. We are loving eating in this place.
