That's funny because I kind of feel like things are the same over here. Most bars all have the same things on their menu. Whenever my wife and I go out she usually gets some kind of chicken wrap and when I ask her how it was, she says "it was a chicken wrap".
hahaha, yes, your wife is correct. I get frustrated with new restaurants here because the Vietnamese places all have the same 6 Vietnamese staples and whenever anyone wants to talk about how amazing the fresh spring rolls are somewhere I want to slap them for their ignorance. It's rice paper with the same 3-6 things inside of it... how different and amazing can it possibly be?
